the anson ranch house.
This custom home was built for a lovely couple with three grown sons. Their family has owned this land for a long time and they were so excited to build a home for themselves.
She is adorable and spunky and has an open mind when it comes to design. She loves color and a rustic modern style. They both kind of balked when I first showed them this tile for the kitchen backsplash, but quickly warmed up to it.
This is apparently rag weed that I pulled from their land for pics. It worked well for a quick and free photo shoot arrangement, but it turns out our clients are both allergic to it and came home sneezing their heads off. Let this be a lesson to us all...don't use ragweed even if it looks rustic and perfect in a shiny bowl.
They had several personal items to accessorize
with including framed prints of the original land purchase...
The master bathroom is full on rustic modern with these stunning
doors found at Roundtop, black plumbing fixtures and a patterned tile wainscoting...
The master shower has black basalt stone floors in a picket shape, pattern tile wainscoting with a basalt pencil rail and irregular edge white tile above to keep it light and airy...
We typically try to get interior photos shot as soon as we finish and right before clients move in. The exteriors are usually still waiting on landscaping so we are bad at getting exterior photos done. :/ Will work on that.
